Math Camp: Introduction to R
I developed a two-day introduction to R for Booth's math camp, based on learning to code through research projects. Students work through downloading and cleaning data, creating dates, estimating basic empirical models, and writing simulations with loops.
The materials provide syntax hints while encouraging students to learn by doing. Students can use the supplied public data or bring their own.
